We met at first at the Cabbagetown festival where we host a booth and sell goods and run fast ‘off the pier pick from the wall’ style tattoos in the shop. She had only ever gotten one tattoo; a now blurry and never quite loved back tattoo. And finally. after a quick Hello! at the booth she was feeling ready to risk it and try again trusting Katt for a real tattoo experience. After a few sessions we were done, but after the first session she left feeling seen and excited about sharing her art with others for the first time.

Now; we’re doing more projects together so that she can admire her tattoos in more personally visible areas- since its tough to look at your back at home in the mirror.
